Legal Policies & Terms

Legal Policies & Terms

At Romeo Metal Fabrication LLC, we are committed to transparency and fairness in all our transactions. Please review the following policies carefully before placing an order.

Return & Replacement Policy

Due to the custom and made-to-order nature of our products, all sales are generally final. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or resolution at no additional cost.

Items that are not custom-made may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Policy

Refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis. Custom fabricated orders are non-refundable once production has begun. For eligible returns, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item.

If you have a concern about your order, please reach out to us directly and we will do our best to make it right.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund. After 24 hours, cancellations may be subject to a restocking or materials fee depending on the stage of production. Custom orders that have entered fabrication cannot be cancelled.

To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number.

Payment Terms

We accept full payment at the time of order for standard products. For large custom orders, we may require a 50% deposit upfront with the remaining balance due prior to shipment. Payment plans or invoicing arrangements may be available for qualifying commercial clients — please contact us to discuss.

All prices are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD).

Transaction Currency

All transactions on our store are processed in United States Dollars (USD). If you are purchasing from outside the United States, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees. Romeo Metal Fabrication LLC is not responsible for any additional charges resulting from currency conversion.

Privacy Policy

We collect and store personal information — including your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details — solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your orders. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to complete your transaction (e.g., shipping carriers).

Your data is stored securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us directly.

Legal Restrictions

By placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to purchase the products ordered. Certain products (such as fire pits or items with open flame components) may be subject to local regulations. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding the purchase, ownership, and use of our products.

Romeo Metal Fabrication LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that may violate applicable laws or regulations.

Export Restrictions

Some of our products may be subject to United States export control laws and regulations. By purchasing from our store, you represent that you are not located in, or purchasing on behalf of any entity in, a country subject to U.S. trade sanctions or export restrictions. It is the buyer's responsibility to comply with all applicable export control laws, licensing requirements, and import regulations in their country. Romeo Metal Fabrication LLC is not liable for any customs duties, import taxes, or regulatory issues arising from international shipments.

Romeo Metal Fabrication isn’t a big company, and it’s not my full time job. It’s something I started because I enjoy working with metal and take a lot of pride in making things the right way. What began as a hobby in a garage slowly turned into something more, not because I set out to build a business, but because people saw the work and started asking for it.
I don’t take on massive commercial jobs or run a production line. This is a small, hands on setup where I build things one project at a time. That might be a custom metal sign, a small bracket for someone’s equipment, a creative gift, or a repair that needs to be done right. I don’t rush the process. If I take something on, it’s because I believe I can do it well.
I still work out of my garage in Barre, Vermont, and most of my orders come through word of mouth. A lot of my customers are local, but I’ve shipped pieces across the country too. What they all have in common is that they’re looking for something solid, something made with care, not mass produced in a factory.

Every piece that leaves my shop reflects the time, effort, and focus I put into it. It’s not about volume or making a sale. It’s about doing good work for people who appreciate it.

If you’ve got an idea or something you need built, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to talk it over and see if I can help.
